There is only one way to offer discount design work - by utilizing inexperienced, or unskilled designers. This obviously leads to inferior quality design work, format problems and a complete lack of technical and client support. For minimal savings, clients can jeopardize their entire corporate identity. With all this in mind, Logos in a Box has come up with a unique way to offer premium studio design work, at cut-rate prices. Our site features logos that have been created by these the world's best logo designers, that are offered on a limited, non-exclusive license basis (or through exclusive license when available), customized with your company name, colors and other particulars. By making this library of top notch stock logo designs available to a wider range of clientele, Logos in a Box can offer them at a vastly discounted rate. By offering pre-designed logos, the majority of the DESIGN work is already done - you're only paying for the editing and file preparation. Q: Do I own the exclusive rights to any logo I buy?

A: That depends. Most of our logo inventory is offered on a limited license to a limited number of clients. Each logo you will see in our gallery is offered for a total of 10 clients. Then, it is removed from our inventory forever. If a logo has not been purchased before, it is available for exclusive purchase (that is, you buy the logo and ALL the rights to it's reproduction). You can trademark the logo at that point. Only logos that have NEVER been purchased under ANY license are available for exclusive purchase. There are NO exceptions.

Q: Can I trademark any logo that I purchase from Logos in a Box?

A: Once again, that depends. You can trademark your company name (as long as it qualifies). Regarding a logo purchased from LIAB, if the logo HAS NEVER been purchased as a limited license logo, you can purchase the complete rights and ownership to that design. After buyout, we transfer ALL copyright and ownership to you, and remove it from our inventory. At that point, you can trademark the icon and design exclusively.

Q: What is the difference between LIAB logos and icons?

A: Designs presented in our Logo Design category include customization - our designers will make modifications, based on your requests, to any logo that you purchase. Icons are stand alone and do not include any modification - when you purchase any LIAB icon we simply send you the appropriate files that you, or your own designer, can then modify for your purposes. Naturally, this is reflected in the cost of Icons, which are generally less expensive. Also, LIAB logos are specifically intended to be used as company identities. While icons may be utilized in this manner, they may not be specifically designed for that purpose.

Q: Can I purchase a 'Limited' logo outright for my exclusive use?

A: If no-one has previously purchased a logo, it can be purchased on a on-time buy out basis and removed from our inventory, disabling any further sales. The cost of an exclusive buy out of any logo that was originally listed as 'limited' is $US 250.00. Q: What can I expect in terms of delivered goods?

A: All our LIAB logos come with .eps (for traditional reproduction), .jpg (high resolution monitor reproduction), .gif (web safe for web site reproduction) and .PDF formats. Our optional CDs also feature help guides, electronic goodies and freebies. Your copyright transfers are mailed out upon sign-off. Q: Do I have to register and login?

A: No, you don't have to open an account to view designs, store logos to a lightbox or utilize other functions featured on our website. You do have to create an account to purchase any Logos in a Box designs. This also gives you the opportunity to track any previous orders, as well as subscribe to our design update newsletter and receive priority communication status with our studio.

Q: Do you take 'special requests' for types of logos?

A: Yes. We can sometimes accommodate special requests regarding available logo types and themes available in our online catalog. We may have an appropriate LIAB sitting in our studio design catalog that has not been added to our online inventory that may be just what you're looking for. Q: Do you create custom logos?

A: Of course. All the artwork and designs featured on our web site are originally the result of a custom design project. We offer custom design packages through our design partner The Logo Factory. You can view an overview and pricing of our custom logo design packages here.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?

We accept payment, via credit card, through our secure online credit card merchant. We also accept money orders and company checks. Please note that no Logo in a Box can be customized without payment.

Q: Does Logos In A Box purchase designs or logos from students or freelancers?

A: We do not accept any UNSOLICITED submissions, nor designs or images from freelancers. All our images are created by our salaried in-house designers. Clients work directly with the creators of the designs who are intimately familiar with the technical aspects of all their work. All our designers are hired specifically for their logo design talents and skills.
